The salon
The salon Manchester keeps coming back to.
Asian bridal, colour and beauty on Slade Lane in Longsight, a few minutes out of the city centre.
Pretty Woman sits on Slade Lane in Longsight, a few minutes out of the city centre. Our clients range from students to Manchester’s high profile personalities, and the salon has built its reputation as a leading provider of hair and beauty in the area.
That mix is the point. On any given afternoon there’s a student in for a fringe trim, a bride in for a trial with her mum and her phone full of photos, and somebody who has been coming for years and doesn’t need to explain what she wants.
We’re known for Asian bridal. Hair and makeup on the same morning, trials weeks before, the whole party booked in together so nobody is waiting with half a head done. It’s planned work and we treat it that way.
The rest of the week is colour, cutting and smoothing on one side, andthreading, waxing, facials and nails on the other. Easy to reach from Rusholme, Fallowfield, Withington, Levenshulme and Burnage.
How we work
Four things that don’t change, whoever is in the chair.
Time first
Every appointment starts with a conversation, not a gown. What you want, what your hair will do, what fits your life.
Tested, then committed
Colour and smoothing get a strand test where it matters. We’d rather take two visits than ruin one.
One standard
Students, brides, regulars of twenty years and Manchester's best-known faces all get the same chair and the same care.
Both sides, one visit
Hair and beauty under one roof. Brows threaded while the colour develops. Nails after the blow dry.

WhatsApp usWho owns Pretty Woman Hair & Beauty Salon?
The salon is on Slade Lane in Longsight and has built its reputation on Asian bridal work and colour on dark hair. To speak to somebody about an appointment, message WhatsApp or ring 07979 260597.
Do you speak Urdu or Punjabi?
Yes. A good part of the bridal side of the salon is booked in Urdu or Punjabi, so if that’s easier for you or for a family member coming with you, it isn’t a problem.
Is Pretty Woman suitable if I have never had my hair done professionally?
Yes, and say so when you book. Every appointment starts with a conversation, not a gown. It’s far easier to get right when we know you’re not sure what you want yet.
