Terms
How booking works.
Plain terms so nobody is surprised. If anything here doesn’t sit right, talk to us before you book.
Booking
Appointments are made by WhatsApp, by phone, or by walking in and asking. There’s no online booking. When we confirm a time we’re holding a chair and somebody's hands for you, which is why the rest of this page exists.
Deposits
Most appointments need nothing up front. Bridal bookings and long colour appointments need a deposit to hold the date. It comes off the final bill. If you cancel with enough notice it moves to your new date. If you cancel late, it doesn’t come back.
Changing or cancelling
Give us at least 48 hours and there’s no charge and no hard feelings. Less than that and we usually can’t fill the gap, so a deposit is kept. For bridal, the notice we need is longer and we agree it with you when you book, because those dates are held for months.
Things happen. If you’re ill or something has gone wrong, tell us. We would rather move you than lose you.
Running late
We hold your slot for 15 minutes. After that we may have to shorten the appointment or rebook you, because the person after you booked a time too. Ring ahead if you’re stuck and we’ll do what we can.
Patch tests
If you have not had colour with us before we need to patch test you at least 48 hours ahead. We can’t colour without one. This isn’t us being awkward, it’s the only way to know your skin is fine with the product, and no salon should skip it.
Prices and quotes
Cutting and finishing are fixed. Colour and smoothing are quoted after we have seen your hair, because length, thickness and what has been on it before all change the work. We tell you the price before we start. If something changes partway through we stop and tell you there and then. Nothing gets added to the bill at the end.
If something isn’t right
Tell us. Come back within 7 days and we’ll look at it and put right anything that’s down to us, at no charge. That’s what we’d want. It’s much easier to fix a colour we did than one somebody else has tried to correct in the meantime, so please come to us first.
Children and the salon
Children are welcome. We just ask that they stay with you, because there are hot tools, chemicals and trailing cables in a working salon.
Your things
Keep an eye on your bag and your coat. We can’t take responsibility for belongings left in the salon.
Photographs
We ask before we photograph your hair, every time. Saying no changes nothing about your appointment, and you can ask us to take a photo down later.
This website
We keep the site accurate and up to date, but times, treatments and prices can change. Nothing on this website is a binding offer. The price we quote you directly is the one that counts.
