Getting in, and getting on with it.
What we have done, what we know isn’t right yet, and how to tell us.
This website
We have built this site to meet WCAG 2.1 at level AA. In practice that means you can use it with a keyboard alone, text stays readable when you zoom to 200 per cent, every photograph carries a description, and colours have enough contrast to read in daylight on a phone.
If you have asked your device to reduce motion, the animations here stop. Nothing fades in, nothing slides, and everything arrives already in place.
What we know isn’t perfect
- The map on the Visit page comes from Google and we don’t control how it behaves with a screen reader. The address and directions are written out next to it so you never need the map itself.
- The before and after photos in the gallery use a slider. It works with arrow keys, but a slider is never going to be the easiest way to compare two pictures. Tell us if you want the photos another way.
The salon itself
Tell us before you come and we’ll make it work. If you need a chair near the door, a quieter time of day, somewhere to park close by, or somebody to help you in, message us and we’ll have it sorted before you get here. Nobody wants to work that out on the doorstep.
If you’d rather not be spoken to much during your appointment, that’s completely fine. Say so when you book and we’ll just get on with your hair.
Telling us something is wrong
If any part of this website or the salon is getting in your way, message us on WhatsApp or ring 07979 260597. Tell us what you were trying to do and what happened. We’ll come back to you and we’ll fix what we can.
