Who we are
Pretty Woman Hair & Beauty Salon, 39 Slade Lane, Longsight, Manchester M13 0QJ. We decide what happens to the information described here, which makes us the data controller under UK GDPR. If you have a question about any of it, message us on WhatsApp or ring 07979 260597.

Our legal basis
Answering an enquiry and booking you in is legitimate interest. You asked us something and we’re replying. The mailing list and the analytics both run on consent, which you give by joining the list or accepting in the cookie bar, and can withdraw at any time. Patch test records are kept because we need them if a treatment is ever questioned.
Who else sees it
We don’t sell your details and we don’t pass them to anyone for marketing. A small number of companies handle information on our behalf because they run the tools we use.
- Netlify hosts this website and stores form submissions.
- Google provides the map on the Visit page and the visitor statistics, and only when you have accepted.
- Meta runs WhatsApp, which has its own privacy policy covering the message itself.
Cookies
Nothing optional is set until you accept. If you decline, or ignore the bar, no cookie is set beyond the one that remembers your choice, and that one stays in your browser and never comes to us.

Photographs
We sometimes ask to photograph your hair for the gallery or Instagram. We ask first, every time, and no is a perfectly good answer that changes nothing about your appointment. If you have said yes before and want a photo taken down, tell us and it comes down.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop using it. Message us and we’ll do it, normally within a few days and always within a month. There’s no charge.
If you think we have handled your information badly, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office atico.org.uk.
Changes
If this changes we’ll update the date at the top. We won’t quietly start doing something with your details that isn’t described here.
